How to shift your baseline upwards… for a better life

Shifting baseline syndrome… bullying, low performance, judgmentalness, IQ…

I wrote about that yesterday. But today I want to write about the shifting baseline in the other direction. The direction we’d all like to shift our baseline. towards love, peace, harmony, togetherness, joy, and maybe even productivity.

Of course in a pull-popping, superfood guzzling world we all want instant.

There are a few examples for an instant shift that lasts…

Shifting baseline, or how I prepare for my side-hustle gig?

I am mentally and physically preparing for my coaching call tonight. I have watched some 15 videos, researched what others had to say…

I still feel unprepared to talk to a coach. By the way, it is clear to me that you don’t know what coaching is, or you wouldn’t be where you are at.

And it’s not personal.

The coach, so far spent ten minutes on a video to make me promise I’ll show up. The cost of not showing up. I have received three emails and two texts. That tells me many people don’t make the call.
What the coach hasn’t said so far is that only someone in action can be coached.

Manifesting: wonder if is it possible for a human?

Every Tom, Dick, and Harry teaches manifesting.  It is akin to teach you to be god… Is it possible or is it impossible? Are all these people wrong?

Do I dare saying that manifesting is not possible, or will I succumb to my fear of being killed, and tell you to calm down: you can manifest, if you do it right, if you just want it bad enough?

I probably should be scared, but to tell you the truth, when it’s time, I’ll die peacefully, knowing that I lived in integrity. That is all anyone can hope for in a lifetime.

Now, with regards to this manifesting issue, here is the scoop:

Finally I decided to end hope and start a side-hustle

Finally I decided to end hope and start a side-hustle… or why you aren’t growing.

My favorite part of the book, The Science of Getting Rich is  where he says: Start where you are.

Most people do their life half-assed, build half-assed projects, hoping that doing that they can have what they want: success, love, fulfillment… but that is not the way to go.

Today I realized why the holidays lower your vibration

Today finally I found out why the holidays lower your vibration.

Why I never knew it? Because for the past 42 years I have had no family, so I wasn’t obligated to participate in any of the festivities.

So there there, the first reason: it is not an invitation. It is like death and taxes. Unless you go, you are disinherited.

But somehow until today I wasn’t feeling it. I wasn’t feeling that there was no choice.
The tyranny of family.

Was David Thoreau wrong? Not desperation but resignation

Resignation and desperation are the dominant moods in the world nowadays.

It’s late fall. The trees have shed their leaves in the Northeast where I live, the heat has been on for weeks now, and already we get up in dark, and end work in dark.

And people are sitting on their fat asses… doing nothing. Have given up. Resigned.

When they look, the future is gloom and doom.

Today I learned… Why I was happiest in kindergarten

Today I learned television was invented and had live broadcasts in 1927. in Europe and in America.

In Hungary I saw my first television, the machine, not even a program when I was seven years old, in 1954. The television was in the Prime minister’s house. Her daughter was in my kindergarten class. The whole kindergarten class walked to their house and ogled the television.

It’s not if you win or lose, it’s how you play the game

Millions of pages quote this meme, but everybody understand it differently. Because we, culturally defined humans, we have no idea what is the game, and how we play it. No clue what to pay attention and what is relevant to the how.

No distinction.

The dude who coined the meme, Grantland Rice was a sports writer. He made more money that the people he wrote about. Was he happy? Was he fulfilled? Hell no. Couldn’t be…
