Because he wanted to write his thesis on the Feelings book, an unknown entity, he needed to gain his thesis counselor’s support. And maybe even his enthusiasm. Or he was going to be alone… and it was going to be a tough road to hoe.

What is the opposite of entitled?
This question around entitlement is asked on google thousands times a day, and the trend is that this number is growing steadily.
More in certain countries… More in religious countries… Christian countries… Countries with deep Christian roots, like Ireland. One can safely assume that entitled, and deserving was invented by Christianity to promote certain behaviors that a father would want their child to demonstrate.
Other words that express this same entitlement are deserve and deserving.

What do I know about eliminating pests?
A few years ago, all of a sudden, there were tons of flies in my house. I am not sure how it happened, but it was a real pain.
Picking them off with a fly swatter, one by one, was “good fun” but not very effective.
I did a lot of reading, and found that
you can’t eliminate flies
you can manage flies
Astute is a word that 99% of people don’t know. Or if they know, they think it’s a bad thing. Like shrewd… it is a missing thing… It is not part of the vocabulary of the uneducated, unsophisticated, simple folks who live a pedestrian existence.
Words are great divider of people. If it is beyond you… if it is beyond your comprehension, you probably get found out by now knowing the word.
Now, with that said: astute is a person who can tell things apart, even similar things, with certainty, and ease.
People have certain areas where they are astute.
Disappointment is when you get something you didn’t expect.
I expected the readers to be here to get something, and not to give. And they didn’t disappoint.
I expected people to not see beyond their noses and they didn’t… but still, kudos to the ten brave souls that forced themselves to think something.
It was hard, wasn’t it? Now I am talking to those ten.
What would happen if you did this every day? You’ll start to build some serious muscle in problem solving, and by the time you actually need those muscles, you would have them.
I promised, you delivered, so I must tell you what happened next in that story.
You know that I blasted the little girl… and I did. I was like you: stopped on the surface.
But then: I didn’t sleep well. I woke up with a question:
Yesterday I wrote an article, and asked you to recommend a course of action for the mother in the article with the female child…
Many of you have asked me before: how can I raise my vibration? What shall I do to build skills? Where should I start to find my life’s work that I would love to do?
My standard answer has been: keep alert, keep aware, life is full of training and growth opportunities. You take a path, keep your eyes open, and grow in the process.
Taking that challenge, placing yourself in the position of the mother was an excellent way for you to see if you have been giving lip service to growth or you are actually committed to grow.
You don’t know who you are. You lie about it, you make up s-h-i-t, but there is not a you that you consistently are.
Landmark Education (and I think other coaches and companies as well) decided that who you are needs to be invented.
But all this invention, all this creation is on the top of an undifferentiated mess of stuff you don’t want to look at. So, whatever people in Landmark invent as themselves doesn’t last long, and has to be repeated, ad nauseum. People need to remind themselves… but that is obvious:
If you know who you are, you don’t need to be reminded of it.
What do most humans do when they are attacked? They sulk, argue, weep, yell, think about it, threaten, that’s what they do.
What do human mites do when they are attacked? They regroup. They get smarter. They do more of what works, and beat the attacker at their own game, by being stronger, smarter, and more capable, by counting on the human’s emotions to come in the way, on them sleepwalking or falling asleep at the wheel of their life.
Do you recognize yourself reacting like a human or reacting like a mite?
Mites have been around for much longer than humans, and will be around much longer than humans, because mites love Life, instead of thinking Life owes them a living, happiness, health, etc.
I am not saying mites don’t get angry, or huffy puffy for the injustices they receive.
They get angry, they may huff and puff, but then they say f… it, and get to work… doing what they need to do to have what they want.Life wants more life… And for mites that means more babies. Spider mites are actually sacrificing themselves for their offspring.
