These are tough times. And many of us are feeling it in our wallets. But .. No matter how tough times are, we can’t forget the basics. And the subject definitely is one of the basics. And, without the basics taken care of, how can you get started?

The subconscious mind has the power to keep us on automatic. The word subconscious means it is below our conscious awareness therefore we do not know or have control of what happens there, to us or around us. When I found out this truth, I was so angry; all the misery I was leaving had nothing to do with my doing, well at least at a conscious level. But I also discovered I can slowly dig up the garbage and finally get clear. So I made that my life’s goal to just dig until I am clear. And you can also dig the subconscious mind clear of the automatic garbage.

Ways I have been digging the garbage out of the subconscious mind

Meditation: The concept is that meditation allows you to reach parts of the brain we can not reach normally (consciously). I started with Holosync meditation by Centre Pointe and after three months of using it I noticed I was much calmer and less automatic. I continued using it but the results were not quick enough as I was still bothered by what people thought of me and I was internally very anxious. Because this is recorded sound tracks, you only use them in the evenings or early mornings. I needed something to keep me in a meditative state 24/7. The recordings work brilliantly and their power on the subconscious mind was further emphasised in an interview by Bruce Lipton recently.

Theta healing: This is a very exciting tool in the way it digs out the garbage in the subconscious mind. It works by testing what your beliefs are on certain subjects like money. They use body muscles to respond by going strong to the beliefs that are true to you. For example the practitioner will ask,” Do you have to be poor to be close to God”. If that belief is true to you, your hand will go strong, he/she will then ask for your permission to remove the belief. This is done brilliantly by a guy called Brent Phillips who has the most interesting story on how the universe works to get you on your path. Reconnective Healing: This is a healing modality that does other things as well as dig up the subconscious mind. From what I understand, it aligns you to what your truth should be. It was started by a doctor Called Eric Pearl who has an interesting story of his own. He explains the concept of letting go completely of our beliefs in order to let God work within us. The best way for you to get an idea of this is by reading a book called The Reconnection written by him. Because this is a healing modality I have experienced only in two hours workshop where someone healed a deformed finger; its best to use it as a tool for digging up the subconscious mind when you have been to a live event.

The release technique: It works on the concept of letting go of what is in your subconscious mind. It is a meditative principle that allows you to be in constant release 24/7.They explain that the mind is creative and getting quiet gets you the fastest results to whatever you are trying to achieve. If you have attachments or aversions to anything you are constantly pushing away feelings or pulling them in. That way you are constantly bound to what the subconscious mind is throwing at you. In being in release you let go of these feelings immediately as you notice or feel them. This is done by a guy called Larry Crane who has lots of ways of tricking the subconscious mind.

Exercise and nutrition: There is a lot of noise made about how you can influence your subconscious mind by just looking after yourself nutritionally and physically. There are scientific facts to back this, for example, if you carry fat, it affects your brain function. Your brain works with your mind to run the show in your life. Exercise and nutrition are easy and available in our daily choices, by making simple choices like walking a mile and eating right; the balance works, do not go over board too much too fast you are back to your old ways. Just repeat a habit daily or weekly such as walking, swimming, football, yoga and more until you brain and body get it making it automatic. Using exercise and nutrition to dig the subconscious mind is exciting and easy if you let yourself go.

Digging the subconscious mind can be a challenging task, and with so many different ways to do it on the market you are spoilt for choice. I encourage you to find your own truth, deep down within us are answers we are looking for. The fact that we are all looking outside ourselves defeats the purpose, as I wrote previously, if you are not seeing results in your life, you are trying too hard. If just stopped and listened deeply, the answers are always right there. Because we are too busy trying we do not see them, if it is not easy, listen to your heart. We always know the answers. If you are going to use any of the methods above, listen to your heart because you can end up spending a lot of money. I do this because it is my passion to help you find easy fast ways to dig up the subconscious mind. I have used many more rubbish methods where people are just after your money. The Healing Codes® is a new book and system developed by Alex Loyd and Ben Johnson. They make a big, bold claim from the start – that you can use their healing codes to solve just about any problem (not just health-related, but relationally, financially, etc).

I’m a natural skeptic at heart, so I immediately dismissed these claims as completely bogus. Nonetheless, I decided to read the book, and write about my experiences here.

The Healing Codes® – The Full Story

Both authors begin by explaining how they had hardships in their lives, and how after trying everything they could think to solve them, were finally relieved when they implemented the divinely inspired healing codes (they assert that the codes were a received by divine inspiration). I quote: “God downloaded into my mind and heart what we now call The Healing Codes®.”

They go through and assert that all problems are related to one root cause; and that is stress. They emphasize the destructive power of stress, and how these stressors imprint themselves onto our cells, which (allegedly) cause all the health problems we experience.

They then move on an elaborate on the data they use to back up their claims – addressing many illnesses like cancer, ALS, depression, insomnia, and other chronic, debilitating disease.

Finally, they describe what the codes are – simple hand positions that are to be used in conjunction with a relaxed state of mind and mental focus. There are four basic positions, and other specialized codes for specific issues offered in other media.

The Real Deal?

I’m not a doctor, and I’m not a psychic energy expert, nor a quantum physicist. While the authors make a good case for their position in their book, attributing all challenges in ones life to a singular origination seems to be an oversimplification.

What’s more, I have no idea how simple hand positions coupled with states of mind would do anything to heal anyone of even a tummy ache, much less chronic, debilitating disease.

I also don’t know how to define gravity (physicists have been arguing about it for years) or electricity (same thing – experts can’t agree on what it actually is). What is most interesting about the book is the number of people that write in and talk about how they were suffering from _________ (fill in the blank with something horrible) and now they are either completely well or on the road to recovery.

While I don’t know if the codes are legit or not, I do know that there are several inexplicable things in our society that do work, and that modern medicine has become silent on many ailments and healings that are “inexplicable” by their definition. The bottom line is results, and whether it’s special codes, magic rocks, or a synthesized pill, I personally believe that the means to acquire such results pale in importance to the desired results themselves.

To sum, I may not agree with the logic behind the explanation of the results, but I would encourage you to read the book and draw your own conclusions.

What will it take to break the cycle of failure in your life? Many of us spend years, and substantial amounts of money, attempting to cure one of the five major areas in which problems occur.

Whether we focus on our beliefs, behaviors, physical ailments, emotional problems or negative thoughts, though, we’re really just dealing with symptoms, rather than identifying the root cause. Sometimes that struggle to change symptomatic behavior becomes a substitute for finding, and dealing with, the real reason we continue to fail.

Stress is the real culprit

It should encourage you to know that research now shows us there is an actual physical cause for this cycle of struggle and defeat. We now know, thanks to scientific research, that the bottom line cause for failure in our lives is stress. The Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, in fact, reported that even disease, ninety percent of it, is brought about by stress.

Dr. Bruce Lipton, a groundbreaking cell biologist, goes farther and proposes that ninety-five percent of disease is caused by stress, and that the other five percent that is ‘genetic’ is the result of an ancestor experiencing enough stress to unmask a disease at the cellular level and introduce it into the family’s genetics.

Stop and think about that for a minute. What if we could literally break the cycle of genetically inherited disease by addressing the response to stress in the current generation? Think of the impact that would have on our future.

Stress – How it works

Let’s explore, then, how stress actually brings about disease and failure in our lives. It’s important to know that stress actually does five things-it makes us physically ill, drains our energy, gives us to a negative outlook, reduces our problem solving ability and, because of these other results, predicts our failure.

What is the most common response to this impact? We try to “will” our way back into health. Imagine being asked to constantly push a heavy object up an incline. That’s what it’s like when we confront the effects of stress with our own will. We chase the latest self-help book, we pray, we take more and more medication to relieve our symptoms. Failure, however, is inevitable until we find the root cause of all that stress!

I know what to do, but I don’t know why I don’t do it

Dr. Alex Loyd, founder of The Healing Codes, learned in his private counseling practice that ninety-nine-percent of the time, his patients could answer accurately when asked what they should do differently. They couldn’t however, answer the question, “Why, then, aren’t you doing what you need to be doing?” They either didn’t know why, or they didn’t believe they were capable of doing what needed to be done.

Here’s the lesson: it is almost impossible to heal deeply held deficiencies by our own willpower. So, how is it possible to be released from the cycle of sickness and failure?

What was meant to save us is now killing us

For the answer, we have to look to our own brains. When we experience stress, the hypothalamus signals the pituitary to redirect blood flow from our internal organs toward the large muscle groups. This is the original “fight or flight” response that kept our ancestors alive. In modern life, however, this response is triggered when we experience a perceived threat. Think of how your body responds to a verbal confrontation. Muscles tense, breathing gets shallow, body is ready for action.

That physical reaction is caused by the cortisol that’s being sent through the body by the pituitary. What’s more important is what happens to the cells that are being deprived of blood and oxygen. They are moving toward critical cellular stress. We are actually experiencing a momentary malfunction of the immune system. The cellular stress brought about by this reaction “unmasks” the possibility of disease in individual cells. We literally introduce disease into our bodies by reacting to stress over and over throughout the day.

Because we know, then, that the actual physical cause of relational, physical and emotional problems is stress, we can also know how to heal ourselves. We must begin by identifying the root cause of our stress and learn how to lessen its impact on our lives.

I have helped myself recently overcome panic attacks using a technique many will have heard of EFT – it is like acupuncture and you tap on certain body points.

I can now manage to do certain tasks especially performance related that I couldn’t before. I do still however have anxiety and other emotions that are stopping me from starting my career and being successful. I still feels like the panic is just under the surface.

Anyway, I have been reading this book called the Emotion Code by Dr Bradley Nelson. It teaches you how to tap into your subconscious using simple muscle testing procedures and find and release trapped emotions using magnets.

Some are skeptical about this and I can understand as I am still a bit. But one thing I realised is that if you really believe in this and feel grateful for healing (which it talks about) I think it really does work. I am going to start asking some specific questions hoping to resolve these issues in order to release the panic and anxiety. I was wondering though if anybody else might be interested in helping or if they have similar problems because you can work on these things together and resolve them. I would be happy to test the other person too.

I am based in the West Midlands in England. If there are no local people I would still be happy hearing any ideas or suggestions. I am a 25 year old male just finished uni and now I want to resolve these issues so I can find a nice girl, get my driving license and get the right job etc.

The Use of Meditation in Healing

Creative meditation is helpful in healing. Healing takes many forms: healing of attitude, emotions, relationships, trauma, and outlook.

Preparation. Go to a quiet place where you won’t be interrupted. Settle yourself in a comfortable position of either lying down or sitting up. You might like to light a candle. You might like a sacred book with you and perhaps a religious image or object.

If you are comfortable, close your eyes and focus on your breathing. Where does the breath come from and where does it go? This air you breathe is a sacred breath of life. Feel your breath in your lungs. What does it feel like between breaths? Does it feel different when the lungs are filled and they are about to empty from the pause just before when the breath comes in?

Notice how your breathing deepens and slows. It is restful and refreshing to be with your breathing.

Healing Meditation. You are taking a stroll in a beautiful garden. The garden is private, far from sounds of machinery or even people. You have longed to find this place.

You are drawn to the flowers. You breathe in their fragrances, noting that some flowers have no aromas. Each flower has its place in the garden. Some are in full sunshine, others in complete shade. Each kind has its own need for soil, some dry, some moist, some sandy.

As you walk into the shade, your eyes are drawn up. The trees stand side-by-side. Some need large space, others like to be close together.

You see a bird fly into the upper leaves. You strain to see if there is a nest and what sounds this bird makes. Are You able to identify the bird? You listen carefully, and you hear many different bird sounds. Some are songs, others chirping, still others are squawking.

Everything in this garden has its place. The garden is well tended.

You find a place to sit and rest. You sense a Presence. You instinctively know it is the Holy One.

You don’t need to say a word, because the Holy One knows you completely.

Your mind is quiet. You rest. You fall asleep. When you awake, you notice that you are feeling peaceful and somehow things have changed.

You take a small tablet out of your pocket and pen. You begin to write. You are writing freely. You write about healing. What healing are you experiencing?

What happens next?

And then what happens?

When you are ready to return, you stretch. You might be interested in writing your meditation experience in your journal, if you have one. If not you have paper. You may be interested in sketching what the garden looked like. Would you like to return to the Garden?
