Any success expert will tell you that mental attitude is the underlying foundation for achieving what you desire in life. If you don’t have the confidence and motivation to succeed, in this case heal, then you’ve failed before you’ve begun.

Let’s examine five beliefs that are crucial if your body is going to heal quickly and completely. These foundational beliefs need to be held within your subconscious mind. It not, you’ll be working harder than you need to be. Your frustration level will rise which lowers your immune system. By the way, these are not in a particular order.

My body heals quickly and easily. When you’re sick, this is what you want, isn’t it? You want your subconscious mind to fully support you getting well. This message radiates throughout your entire body. Every cell has the message, “Let’s go. Put out those healing energies. Everybody read? Let’s get healthy!”

I choose food healthy for my body. There is enough nutritional advice in the news, in magazines and on the internet that you know what is healthy. The question is, “Are you able to easily choose that which is healthy for you?” If not, then you need this belief as a permanent resident of your subconscious mind. You’re not going to be choosing foods for emotional comfort anymore. You’re going to make choices based upon what you need to be healthy in every way. You are redefining for your subconscious mind what comfort food is.

Health is a natural part of my life. When this belief is a part of your foundation you will find yourself gravitating to that which facilitates health. This includes how much sleep you get, strengthening your immune system, your emotional health and, yes, nutrition.

I renew my body as I sleep deeply. You cannot heal without sleep. You just can’t no matter how much you think sleep is a waste of time. Restful deep sleep is as crucial as a good healthy diet. This belief also gives the message to your body that when it’s time to sleep it’s time for the brain to shut down all those extraneous thoughts and go down, down, down into refreshing sleep.

Every day my body gets healthier and healthier. This belief is the continual pep talk your subconscious mind gives to every part of your physical self. Health is a minute by minute enterprise that your subconscious mind runs every microsecond of your day.

Basic beliefs align your subconscious mind to the goal of health. These are some of the foundational beliefs you need to stay healthy.

We meet people in different scenarios and different life experiences hoping for something new and exciting, but instead, get dealt a bad deck of cards, or so we believe. You Believe You Must Go Through This

For everything that we do, there is always an underlying reason or a key belief, as we like to call them in Theta Healing. You see, you have these belief programs that are running in your subconscious like the hard drive on your computer. These key beliefs of yours go all the way back to your childhood, to your family genes, and even to your soul. Somewhere within the system of beliefs, you may be feeling like the only way you can be fulfilled is to have problems in a relationship. Maybe this is your way of proving to yourself that you are resilient or tenacious. Perhaps having problems in a relationship make you feel like you have purpose in life. You Are Still Holding Onto Resentments, Regrets, or Grudges

The majority of the time that we spend trying to recreate or reinvent ourselves is wasted simply because we refuse to let go of resentments or regrets. We usually create the resentments as a need to protect ourselves from getting hurt by that same person or the same type of circumstance. Grudges and resentments go hand in hand and if you remove one, you can easily remove the other. Regrets are things that hold us in a pool of low self esteem and you know, there isn’t too much that you can get done without good esteem. Esteem affects your personal power, so the more you dwell on regrets, the more you relinquish your personal power.

The Women/Men in Your Family Have the Same Type Of Problems

Have you ever had anyone in your family that you looked up to or considered a role model? Sure you did. Even if you didn’t, the people in your family affected you in ways that you probably still have yet to comprehend. You can be repeating the life patterns of your family members. In fact, there could be a part of you that believes that if certain family members weren’t happy in their love life, then you won’t be or don’t deserve to be. It can be any number of things as beliefs, feelings, fears, and behaviors are passed down genetically.

You Don’t Deserve To Have A Good Relationship

Have you ever caught yourself saying “this is too good to be true” or “good things don’t happen to me”? How about this one: you are experiencing a wonderful time with your loved one and because you haven’t found anything wrong YET, you are just waiting for the unthinkable to happen. I could go on with many examples, but I think you get the idea. The point is that for some reason, on a subconscious level, you don’t believe you deserve to live a good life. You might even find you’re sabotaging the relationship because you are afraid of getting hurt or that something was going to go wrong sooner or later. You just don’t know how to accept good things and good people whole heartedly. This has a lot to do with self acceptance, self trust, and self love. With all of the examples that I mentioned above, Theta Healing can remove all of these things and more, in an instant and then replace it with something more positive, empowering, and life changing.

If our outer world is a reflection of our inner world, then what parts of ourselves have we yet to face? Most of you have found a way to cope with the things that have hurt you. You either ignore it and hope it goes away and pretend it never happened or you complain about it so much that everyone around you knows about it. In doing these two things, you are shutting down yourself and not allowing yourself to live life freely. If you choose to continue living your life not facing your weaknesses or traumas, then life itself will be your constant reminder that you need to deal with this in order to move on. The key word here is being able to “move on” and moving on is not ignoring a situation or jumping into another relationship right away to make the pain go away. If you cannot take time to be alone to recuperate from a bad relationship then you have yet to learn what love is and even worse, you have yet to understand your personal power which was developed even more so from that last relationship.

In the end, you have to consider the quality of life that you want to live. Feeling good and being happy is an internal process that takes time to develop, but once you reach that state, the happiness and peace will always be there no matter what happens in your relationship. Clear up the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual clutter in your life and then you will attract/find someone who has done the same, and this is what will allow you to experience a new kind of life, a new kind of love. Besides, after you clear up your clutter, your standards are going to change and how you feel about what you want will change too. This will create a different aura around you that will bring you the new life experiences that you desire and deserve.

Meditation Music – The Fast Free Fall Into Theta and Deep Meditation

For the longest time I couldn’t meditate because I thought it meant emptying the mind of thoughts. But meditation is to shift brainwaves’ state. The emptying of thoughts just happens when meditation is done correctly. When we hear of all the benefits of meditation, like healing, eliminating pain, deep learning, accessing the field of consciousness and so on, it is actually effects of being in a different brainwave frequency or state. It’s just like expecting to get wet if you walk out in the rain, or expecting a sunburn if it’s sunny. Meditation is a means of shifting into different brain waves.

Brain waves are like gears of a car and meditation is like the transmission (the part that holds the gears). Not knowing about brain waves and trying to meditate is like trying to drive a manual car without understanding the gears. You may be able to get it to go by guessing along the way, but it’s definitely not going to be your idea of a comfortable ride. The experience is a night and day difference between someone who understands them and someone who doesn’t. The same goes for meditation.

There are several brain waves that we operate in but the four most commonly known are BETA, ALPHA, THETA, and DELTA in that particular order. To liken it to a car again, that is first, second, third, and fourth gear. Shifting from one to the next can happen within meditation. This “shifting” is known as BRAIN ENTRAINMENT. There are many techniques that can be used to manually shift through these state, but this particular article is about using meditation music with binaural beats. Meditation music with binaural beats is one of the most effective, one of the fastest ways that you can safely shift brain waves.

Binaural beats is a term that refers to two different beats, one for each ear. The brain makes up the difference. So if you have a frequency of 850hz playing in your left ear, and 870hz playing in your right ear, the brain will make up the 20hz difference. Slowly, the frequencies are brought closer together to achieve the desired brainwave state. All music with binaural beats MUST be listened to with stereo headphones. Speakers will not do the job because the frequencies will not be isolated to each ear. The frequencies are usually in the background of some soothing music. They do not have to be picked up by your conscious level of hearing – your brain will pick up on them.

Another tip is to keep your eyes closed throughout the entire meditation process. Lights and colors have different frequencies which typically make it much more difficult to slow down the brain.

Not all meditation music has binaural beats in it. These will work much more slowly, with the exception of isochronic tones, but if the music relaxes you, they can be used. The most effective way to change brainwave frequencies/states with music is to first match your present state, as much as is possible. This will be the BETA state in most cases. I have meditation music free to download on the page listed in my bio. The free meditation music track is designed to bring you from 20hz to 8hz in less than 6 minutes. This will prepare you for Theta. And Theta is the game changer.

Here is a brief overview of the brain wave states.

Beta (12hz-40hz) is our everyday waking state of mind. It is what we operate in most of the day and it is not conducive to deep learning or relaxation. Just imagine driving all day in first gear. Your engine would be screaming but you’d hardly be moving. That’s what we do with our bodies.

The next state is the Alpha (8hz-12hz) brainwave frequencies. This state is very good for focus and deep imprinting onto the mind. The alpha state is associated with deep relaxation and is the beginning of access to the subconscious mind. Information can be inserted 100 times faster and more effectively in the alpha state than in the beta state. It is the state you are in when you sit down to read a book, and all of your relaxed, undivided attention is on that book.

Theta (4hz-8hz) is an incredible state to be in and is ideal for meditation. This is the state where REM(rapid eye movement) or dreaming sleep happens. In the theta and delta states, your Reticular Activating System is inactive. In both Theta and Delta states, infomation can get inserted 1,000 times faster than in the beta state. Potential behavioral changes happen in theta. Influence on the subconscious mind is unrestricted. Changes in genetic patterns can be influenced in the theta state, as well as physical healing. High access to field of consciousness(quantum field) is able to be attained.

The Delta (0.1hz-4hz) is a very deep state, and is usually only reached when in a deep dreamless sleep. It embodies everything in the theta state and more. Extremely high access to the quantum field is in the delta brain waves. HGH(human growth hormone) is released at lower delta frequencies. Pain is eliminated. An extreme sense of oneness is reached.

Thinking about a positive idea or belief is a great start. Films like “The Secret” and “What the Bleep do we Know,” help us to understand how our language and thoughts affect our reality. However, many times we will discover plateaus in using positive thinking and visualization. Why? Because underneath all that optimism lies a history of doubt and fear and eventually these “demons” resurface. How do we know? Because if we didn’t have all that inside us, we wouldn’t need to stand in the mirror in the morning saying ten times, “I love you. You’re a beautiful worthy person.” We wouldn’t have to remind ourselves to be loving and kind. Forgiveness would become obsolete when we realize there is nothing to be forgiven. We would simply know. And we would feel it in our hearts, and our lives would be a lovely testimony of our self-love and acceptance. And the people around us would reflect that love. This is the truth. You would no longer doubt yourself and your choices. You would simply be, as you are, in complete love and truth. Seem far off? Not so far.

The strange thing about films like ” “The Secret” and “What the Bleep do we Know,” and lot of self help books on getting rich, they don’t tell the person about certain emotions that stand in their way of manifesting and having abundance in their life. They don’t really discuss the emotions and thoughts that block them for being all that they can be, and manifesting and having all the abundance that they would like to have.

It is emotion that plays the dangerous tricks on the mind, and therefore not words or “self talk” of the brain that underlies the foundation of self limiting belief.

The Body Is A “Somatic Library”

The Power Of Theta Brain Waves

You try not to move, not to blink, maybe it can continue… maybe you can consciously keep that experience alive. At the same time, part of you is waking up. You hear the dog barking outside, the neighbor starting the car and you sense the early morning sunrays sneaking through the curtains. It lasts for just a few seconds and then suddenly, it is all over. You are completely awake. The dream reality fades away, the memory becomes dull as if you have travelled a very long distance from it, while the contour of that landscape blurs and loses dimension. Finally, the visceral experience of the dream state completely fades away. During those precious moments between waking and sleeping your brainwaves were in theta.

Our brain produces electrical frequencies (measured by units of hertz – the number of cycles per second), which change according to the state we are in. During deep sleep, our brain produces very slow waves (delta), while during the time between waking and sleeping the brain produces slightly faster waves which are called theta (4-7 cycles per second). During meditation and deep relaxation, when we walk through a beautiful garden, breathe deeply and close our eyes, the brain broadcasts alpha waves (7-14) and when we are in full activity, focusing on our tasks, beta waves (14-28). A state of intensive learning is often regarded as high beta or sometimes referred to as gamma waves (up to 40 cycles per seconds). An optimal state is indicated by our ability to quickly shift from one frequency to another without effort. This ability ultimately means mental flexibility and good functioning capacity in all aspects of life.

The Theta Experience

Let’s go back for a moment to the theta brainwave. Our brain slows down to this frequency under several different circumstances, all of which allow us to access greater creativity and for lack of a better word, a more “elastic” reality. It grants us the possibility to experience reality more vividly, more multi-dimensionally. During the moments between wake and sleep, we can somehow experience a reality independent of physical laws, free of the earth-bound conditioning. For a moment, even though we are already awake, limited by our sensory perception, we can still sense a different reality where we posses almost superhuman powers. I remember a time in my life when I used to dream that I was weightless and I would float in slow motion, lifting off the ground and lightly touching the earth only to be lifted again. The feeling was so real, so visceral (and so wonderful) that upon waking, I was certain I had the power to continue doing that, only to be greatly disappointed the moment I opened my eyes and put my feet on the ground.

Consciously Creating Abundance

Ask yourselves why then, are we not spending much more time in this amazing state? Why are we not accessing its power on a regular basis? It surely seems that if we could slow our brainwaves to theta, we could manifest more easily, heal more effectively, create new things and bring into reality new visions, we could express our highest potential and maybe even change the world. It appears that we actually do spend quite a lot of time in this magnificent state, actually, every night. However, we seem to have little or no control over it. It seems that the slower the brainwave, the more difficult it is for us to access it consciously. The conscious mind, by the mere fact of being conscious, cancels out the slow frequency states. The conscious mind observes reality through the five senses and becomes trapped by their limited perception of what is possible. We know that it is possible to train the mind to slow down. Through the experimental biofeedback technique, a group of alcoholics were trained during 15 separate sessions to slow their brainwave to alpha and theta. The experiment was conducted with two control groups, and the results were very promising, indicating a substantial preference for this kind of treatment with long-range positive outcomes. But who has the money or access to these kinds of treatments?

Healing Through Theta

Can you imagine all the possible uses of this amazing brainwave? For example, much of the research done on spontaneous cures of cancer indicated that almost in all cases, patients experienced a dramatic shift in awareness prior to the appearance of the cure as if they just ‘knew’ that they were going to be healed and felt connected to a source other than themselves.

Digging the Garbage Out of Your Subconscious Mind

The subconscious mind has the power to keep us on automatic. The word subconscious means it is below our conscious awareness therefore we do not know or have control of what happens there, to us or around us. When I found out this truth, I was so angry; all the misery I was leaving had nothing to do with my doing, well at least at a conscious level. But I also discovered I can slowly dig up the garbage and finally get clear. So I made that my life’s goal to just dig until I am clear. And you can also dig the subconscious mind clear of the automatic garbage.

Ways I have been digging the garbage out of the subconscious mind

Meditation: The concept is that meditation allows you to reach parts of the brain we can not reach normally (consciously). I started with Holosync meditation by Centre Pointe and after three months of using it I noticed I was much calmer and less automatic. I continued using it but the results were not quick enough as I was still bothered by what people thought of me and I was internally very anxious. Because this is recorded sound tracks, you only use them in the evenings or early mornings. I needed something to keep me in a meditative state 24/7. The recordings work brilliantly and their power on the subconscious mind was further emphasised in an interview by Bruce Lipton recently.

Theta healing: This is a very exciting tool in the way it digs out the garbage in the subconscious mind. It works by testing what your beliefs are on certain subjects like money. They use body muscles to respond by going strong to the beliefs that are true to you. For example the practitioner will ask,” Do you have to be poor to be close to God”. If that belief is true to you, your hand will go strong, he/she will then ask for your permission to remove the belief. This is done brilliantly by a guy called Brent Phillips who has the most interesting story on how the universe works to get you on your path. Reconnective Healing: This is a healing modality that does other things as well as dig up the subconscious mind. From what I understand, it aligns you to what your truth should be. It was started by a doctor Called Eric Pearl who has an interesting story of his own. He explains the concept of letting go completely of our beliefs in order to let God work within us. The best way for you to get an idea of this is by reading a book called The Reconnection written by him. Because this is a healing modality I have experienced only in two hours workshop where someone healed a deformed finger; its best to use it as a tool for digging up the subconscious mind when you have been to a live event.

The release technique: It works on the concept of letting go of what is in your subconscious mind. It is a meditative principle that allows you to be in constant release 24/7.They explain that the mind is creative and getting quiet gets you the fastest results to whatever you are trying to achieve. If you have attachments or aversions to anything you are constantly pushing away feelings or pulling them in. That way you are constantly bound to what the subconscious mind is throwing at you. In being in release you let go of these feelings immediately as you notice or feel them. This is done by a guy called Larry Crane who has lots of ways of tricking the subconscious mind.

Exercise and nutrition: There is a lot of noise made about how you can influence your subconscious mind by just looking after yourself nutritionally and physically. There are scientific facts to back this, for example, if you carry fat, it affects your brain function. Your brain works with your mind to run the show in your life. Exercise and nutrition are easy and available in our daily choices, by making simple choices like walking a mile and eating right; the balance works, do not go over board too much too fast you are back to your old ways. Just repeat a habit daily or weekly such as walking, swimming, football, yoga and more until you brain and body get it making it automatic. Using exercise and nutrition to dig the subconscious mind is exciting and easy if you let yourself go.

Digging the subconscious mind can be a challenging task, and with so many different ways to do it on the market you are spoilt for choice. I encourage you to find your own truth, deep down within us are answers we are looking for. The fact that we are all looking outside ourselves defeats the purpose, as I wrote previously, if you are not seeing results in your life, you are trying too hard. If just stopped and listened deeply, the answers are always right there. Because we are too busy trying we do not see them, if it is not easy, listen to your heart. We always know the answers. If you are going to use any of the methods above, listen to your heart because you can end up spending a lot of money. What defines true compassion? A Bible verse reads, “But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was; and when he saw him, he had compassion on him. And went to him, and bound up his wounds…and took care of him.” Luke 10:33-35.

A dictionary may define compassion as: “the deep awareness of the suffering of another coupled with the wish to relieve it.” While searching examples of true compassion from my life experiences, I suddenly realized it has nothing to do with the action. Instead it is about the person, the vessel; humans understanding the position and perspective of another. Through patience and withholding judgment, one should see beyond the present circumstances of another in order to offer hope.

I experienced a session last year with a dear friend, Jacqui Delario, who works with Theta Healing. For me, that session represents the best example of compassion used as a healing modality. There was a moment in the session where I felt compassion, a sense that someone knew and understood what I needed in order to receive healing and move forward. There was an immediate sense of calm, followed by weeks of unexpected personal results and opportunities as a result of my limiting beliefs being replaced with affirmations.

Compassion is the absence of judgment. Compassion is complete acceptance of another’s humanness. We believe being compassionate is to alleviate another’s suffering through sympathy, empathy, or helping them to understand their situation from a different perspective. But it is really about just being there for that person, without conditions.

Somewhere down the line compassion has gotten mixed up with being “wound-mates” (quip coined by Carolyn Myss). That is the reason people should always be careful when considering a support group. You want to make sure the group fits like a good bra: it lifts and separates, rather than creating a petri dish for wounds and past hurts. I don’t even like the word “support” because it sets the tone for not being able to stand on your own–ever. We always should be creating positive beliefs versus negative ones. We all have the capacity for compassion, and we need to extend our willingness to understand another without creating a need for dependency; it is kindness without conditions.
Compassion is not pity. Compassion is not assistance. Compassion is experienced. Compassion is experienced by someone through someone that is balanced and happy. Compassion means you have the ability to understand another’s pain, but not own that pain. Compassion is loving neutrality. You are with them, You are within. That moment is compassion. Compassion is without words–it is flow. When you are feeling compassionate, there is a moment where you are truly outside of yourself (or ego), and you make a sincere effort to understand the other person’s situation. Compassion is the flow of the Divine Source through you to another–again, without conditions.

Compassion is not the action or the reaction. Compassion is the moment you connect with your source in order to help another connect with his or her source.

Until quite recently, little was understood about why our memories invoke immediate physiological responses. Unlike computers, which take in data and process it to create responses, our minds respond instantaneously to stimuli, based on our stored memories. Recent scientific discoveries allow us to understand why, and to create ways of healing our faulty memories in order to heal our bodies.

Our Memories Are Like Holograms

To begin our understanding, we need to know that Dennis Gabor, 1971 Nobel Prize winner, first explained the phenomenon of holograms. What he taught us about holograms is that they are multidimensional images, each portion of which contains the entire image.

Such distinguished scientists as Karl Pribram, Michael Talbot, and David Bohm applied that knowledge of holographic images to the images stored within the mind. They determined that mental images, our memories, are also multidimensional and rich with detail. As with holograms, each section of a mental image contains the entire image, meaning that memories can contain massive amounts of data.

Because those memories stored in our hearts are incredibly detailed, our bodies receive the necessary information immediately to respond physically to each situation.

Transmission of Energy

Going further, we can learn why that physical reaction occurs throughout the entire body. The spiritual heart, the collection of memories stored as images, functions like a hologram. This is important to know, because it explains our ability to influence our own and other people’s physical health through the transfer of negative or positive energy.

An experiment by the U.S. Department of Energy illustrates how this works. In the study, participants had skin cells scraped from the roof of their mouths, placed in a test tube, and moved to another room.

The study subjects were then connected to monitors that measure various physical responses, such as heart rate, and then shown several kinds of television programs. The startling result of the study was that, even though removed from the body and moved to another room, the skin cells had identical reactions as did the host person’s body to violence, romance, and other emotional scenes on television!

Here’s why — human beings begin as a single fertilized cell. As each cell doubles, they retain the exact same genetic markers of that single individual cell. In addition, every cell contains organelles that are representative of the body’s organs.

Global Impact of Positive or Negative Memories

It stands to reason then, that the entire body is affected by the energy of positive or negative memories. A fascinating dimension of this phenomenon is that organ recipients have been reported to take on the attitudes and memories of the donors. The donor’s memories were actually introduced through the cells of the organ transplanted.

And so back to our purpose, learning how to apply what we know about memories and the physical response they induce to bringing about emotional and physical healing. We can “learn” to heal ourselves by refuting the lies stored within our memories so that their negative energy no longer destroys our bodies. It’s that simple.

This kind of healing of our memories can then bring about physical healing for us, and for the people closest to us. By no longer transmitting negative, harmful energy within our bodies and to those frequently in our presence, we can create a true circle of healing.

Understanding how memories are stored within the cells of our bodies and then acting upon those facts to bring about healing is the key to lasting change in our lives.
